Lead With Heart Food Basket Program
i Take The Lead started Lead with Heart, a food basket program, to help bring food around Valentine’s Day to 30 families in need. These families live from the Salem Oregon area all the way to the Ridgefield Washington area. We started this in the Portland OR area in 2001 as a way to help those who’d been displaced by layoffs, business closures, etc. (We formed a Non-profit foundation in 2007, to enable us to give back even more to the community.)
